I conceived, pitched, scripted and produced this three part campaign while at A&E. Dodge RAM wanted to be aligned with Longmire but there were concerns from the show and cast that the executions would be too ‘commercial’ and tarnish their brand. I countered by pitching an idea to the internal ad sales and marketing teams, Dodge RAM’s agency and the show and cast: do a series of loosely connected stories that lived in the Longmire world and were ‘driven’ by the characters themselves. To offset the large cost involved I also suggested using show production crews and locations. Everyone signed on and the result was the biggest co-branded campaign ever for A&E at the time. It garnered multiple industry awards (Promax/BDA, A+E Ace) and over 750k impressions on social media.
