CREATIVE DIRECTOR

As Vice President/Creative Director at Viacom Velocity/Comedy Central I saw this creative through from RFP to completion. I worked with an in-house writer to ensure that all the jokes and material were pushing boundaries and worthy of a Comedy Central roast (and Jeff Ross) but not so extreme as to cause the client to balk. This meant I had to keep multiple players and partners satisfied: talent, client, client agency, internal agency, network. And once the spot was shot we had an embarrassment of riches in terms of jokes, so I took a lead role in determining what content would ultimately be used; a much harder task than it seems.

This content lived across multiple channels: linear, digital, social.
